The First Proper Watch
My journey with watches began on my 18th birthday, when my grandfather gave me my first proper watch. It wasn't just a gift—it was a passing of values.
Patience, craftsmanship, and the idea that some objects carry meaning far beyond their function. That watch marked the beginning of a fascination that has stayed with me ever since.
Zurich & A Quiet Milestone
A few years later, while working in Zurich, Switzerland, I bought my first watch to mark a professional milestone: a Nomos, proudly made in Germany.
Surrounded by Swiss colleagues in a Swiss company, it felt right to choose something different—quietly distinctive, thoughtful, and slightly unconventional. Looking back, that decision already reflected what I value in watches today.
Learning Across Brands
As my career progressed and I earned my first serious money, my collection grew accordingly. I explored contemporary watches across the spectrum: IWC, Tudor, Rolex, Patek Philippe, as well as microbrands and small independent makers.
I enjoyed learning, comparing, and understanding what made each brand and reference special.
Singapore & The Shift
Everything shifted after I moved to Singapore. Surrounded by an abundance of modern luxury watches on almost every wrist, I found myself searching for individuality and character rather than novelty.
That was when I bought my first neo-vintage piece: a Rolex Explorer I, reference 14270. It felt different—less about recognition, more about connection. That watch opened the door to vintage collecting.

Collecting by Taste
Today, I collect purely based on personal taste. The older I get, the less I care about trends or outside opinions.
This mindset has led me to explore watches I might once have overlooked—yellow gold, diamonds, unconventional dials—pieces with personality, history, and confidence.
Stewardship
The watches offered on this site are part of that personal journey. They are pieces I once sought out, researched, wore, and enjoyed, but which no longer get the wrist time they deserve.
My goal is to pass them on to fellow collectors who will value and treasure them as much as I did. This is not about volume or fast turnover. It's about stewardship—connecting the right watch with the right next owner.
